Happy Birthday Dear Jaap!

It's a shame that everyone and everything that's 70 years old is nowhere near as loving, kind, wise, gentle and inspirational as you.

But at least we have you. 

Spring is coming. And it is about time. For it has been a harsh, cold and stormy winter. With difficult times for all of us. Uneasy lives, turbulent relationships. We have been suffering setbacks, disappointments, problems with the government and officials. We have been confronted with old stuff from the past, with fears and anxieties buried deep in our bodies. There have been crises, accidents and disasters all over the world and at home. It is as if the fight between good and bad, between the forces of Light and Dark is intensifying. So stand firm dear friends. The harder fights are a clear sign that the Dark forces are losing. That more and more of their evil deeds are exposed. Exposed by the Internet and by brave whistle blowers. And things are changing, changing for better, slowly, but they are changing!

You may think that this is a quiet time, not really a time for a newsletter, but then, it was not quiet at all. Much has happened. And much is still happening.

It is a challenging time, a time of transformation, of suffering, a time of testing, a time of completing things, a time of letting go, a time of saying goodbye to old habits.

It is cold outside. But inside it is warm. The fire is burning and my heart is burning as well, with love. Winter is coming. Time for reflection. Time for all the many things that have to be done. Maintenance, repair, administration, writing, you name it.

I wasn’t going to write another newsletter this year, but you know me. So much has happened in the last few weeks, so many beautiful pictures, so much to share with you.

And the world, what is happening to the world? It is quiet now but I feel that a lot is still happening. Below deck, or behind the screens. And I feel that people are getting stronger, and are getting to know themselves better.  And are slowly changing their attitude, their focus. Things are happening at last. And we are part of it. Isn’t that wonderful?
